Red, White and Blue Portraits

Shannon and Whitney let me practice with my portrait lens. Daniel was off swimming at Brinn's house. That lucky guy.

July Family Portraits

Brad is leaving at the end of August for his London England mission and Ayn and Bryce were visiting from Philadelphia.  We definitely needed group photos.  We'll see if I use these for Christmas cards later this year.

Looks like we stuck our "we are a band" pose here:

I discovered a location without power lines near Dry Canyon. It's a teeny hike and Aynie had high heels:)

Here we go with a traditional photo.

Daniel doesn't quite have the mob look we were going for in the following photo.

The girls' band is awesome!

I lovva, lovva these kids (Bob, too)!

AND, no one cried!!!

Overdue Portraits

It has been over a year since I took portraits of the kids.  Shannon was in a mood so I didn't get one of her.  I've inserted a "swing" photo.  Moody portraits just aren't that great, hee, hee.

Shannon has begun ortho work.  She has an RPE--rapid palatal expander--See the space between the front teeth.  Its working!

This is the best photo I could get of Whitney.  I think I'll try again later.

NoT So School Portraits

Ever since Aynie was about 4 years old and Brad 2 I've avoided commercially produced portraits. I couldn't tolerate the Sears Portrait Studio waiting room, bad moods, naptime interruptions and red-faced photos. I finally totally quit on school-appointed portrait shoots and retail portrait studios altogether when Brad freaked out at the Walmart photo studio. He was terrified. Those cute colorful paint cans with spills fakely dribbling down the sides and the white step ladder must of reminded him of a night terror. Anyway, I had to share this cute portrait of Daniel taken outside with a tripod and an Adobed backgroundPhotobucketCute as a bucket of puppies, huh:)
