An Invitation to Prom

Onward towards Prom season.  Shannon received an invitation to Prom from Marcos Estrada this evening. What a classy request, a dozen red roses, helium-filled balloons and hand crafted ART including a tidbit of poetry,"Out of all the fishes in the sea would you go to Prom with me?" The art always gets me. I love it.

Little sisters are required to mock.

He seems a little eager to me.

A water balloon answer at the front porch. We all got wet.  I've filled water balloons and this had to have taken hours.  The letters were in the balloons--in a few of the many, many balloons.

Cute Cids

Brad is soooo fun.  He lets me be involved in fun Prom stuff for him.  He and Ashlee W. were cute as a bug's ear.

I've Got a Prom Hangover

WOWWIE, WOW, WOW. I'm tired. A self-administered afternoon nap has helped me recover somewhat from Ayn's prom. It was fun to sew her dress/petticoat and clutch; plus, Jake's cravate. I think taking photos was the most fun.

This group of youth are amazing. They are handsome and beautiful Saturday for prom and then they are bearing their testimonies the next day in Sacrament meeting. Now, how many kids in the USA are doing that after prom night?
