The weather was beautiful. The snow was great, but unfortunately Bryce fell off of a rail in the "Park" and broke his wrist. That really cuts down on the practice of dentistry. His professors told him he has a nice break from the clinic to study for 6 weeks. Nobody likes a cast in his/her mouth.

Skiing @ Brighton
Tomorrow Aynie and Bryce head to Mesa, AZ, so we all headed to Brighton to enjoy the new snow. Mark and Shannon had been skiing already this season, but it was the first ski day of the season for the rest of us. Unfortunately, many other locals had the same idea and the line wait was long, probably because several lifts were not yet open (not enough snow in those parts.) But, after 2 p.m. we were quickly cruising throught the lift line and down the slopes. Everyone else must have gotten tired.

Elder Mark Smith Returns with Honor
Mark was given an honorable release for medical purposes from serving in the Bangkok, Thailand mission. He spent nine weeks in Nong Khai and sent me some terrific photos of the area. I'm so thankful to have him safely home and to help him get better.
