Whirlpool Double Oven Rant

This piece of junk Whirlpool double oven has been a problem for years.  After we moved in 12 years ago I used the clean cycle on the upper oven (the lower oven is analog, no cleaning cycle, nothin', not even proper temperature maintenance). Anyway, the the clean cycle melted the control panel $100 back then.  The repair person put in some insulation in the top, but that didn't help.  With trepidation I used the clean cycle a couple of years later--yep, it fried the control panel again.  Bob put a new one in, $100.  So, I don't use the clean cycle for 5 years and decide I'll run the cycle for half the three hour time period.  Stupid move.  It didn't totally fry the control panel, but it eventually died one month after the cleaning cycle.  Brown dripping came out of the light switch and from around the kep pad area.  Finally, the digital read out flipped out and wouldn't stop beeping.
Oh, and the control panel costs $300 now.
