The Big Boy Comes to Town

Big Boy is the common name of the American Locomotive Co. 4000 class 4-8-8-4 articulated, coal fired, steam locootives manufactured between 1941 and 1944. Union Pacific RR operated them until 1959 which happens to be the year my dad was on his LDS mission to Australia.  Wikipedia is my friend.  This engine is massive.
