Snowy Walk

Once it begins snowing here in northern Utah then the mountain biking slows down. I begin to traipse on "snowy walks" on the single track up to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. I love the built-in playground just outside my door. When there's enough snow in the "dirt hill" area I can go cross country skiing. I love when someone will join me.

Blustery Walk and Perrine Bridge

I needed to get out of the warm house and cool off. Boy, did we cool off. We completely understand why folks in Magic Valley plant wind breaks. We got away from the few homes and the large wind break of trees and that NW wind was cold. Once we were at the retention pond behind the Gov't Research center our toes were cold. Shannon couldn't fit her bandadged big toe into a shoe without the toe hurting. Flip flops don't help protect from wind chill.

I was determined to have another Christmas card photo shoot in front of the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, ID. You never know who will look good or NOT in group photos. Even with digital, the viewer is too small often to tell if someone's eyes are closed. I've discovered eyes look funny when I paste them on over closed eyes.
